My child care experience started with caring for the last child of our family where I learn from my mom how to bath a baby, wash feeding bottles, sterilize them, wash baby clothes and sterilize with warm water, I also learned how to feed babies, give massages at least twice a week and ensure hygiene. As first daughter in the family I was taught how to take full responsibility of the home chores from cleaning to washing, cooking and grocery shopping which have become a normal routine. And for older kids say from 1-5 I bath cook and wash and as well supervise them and ensure their safety, I take note of the slightest thing, ensure they eat well and do their homework through supervision. I try to organize creative play date at home with the kids parents permission ofcourse eg educational play activities like spelling B and other fun play games. For older kids I also ensure they learn basic house, chores with my supervision if their parents permit and ensure they study. I help run school errands, I relate with kids with patient and attention. I’m also able to understand children’s needs, even when they can’t fully express themselves. I also communicate well with parents, giving updates and following their preferred routines and discipline style. Overall, I enjoy working with children and creating a safe, fun, and structured environment for them like their parent would if they aren’t busy.
