• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms. • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of truck repair operations. • Assess and forecast material requirements based on repair schedules and inventory levels. • Collaborate with operations and inventory teams to align procurement activities with business needs. • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuous supply and favorable terms. • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value • Prepare and issue purchase orders for parts, tools, equipment, and services. • Monitor and manage the entire procurement process from order placement to delivery. • Resolve any issues related to order discrepancies, delays, or non-conformity. • Ensure that all procured items meet required quality standards and specifications.
