I have a good foundation in customer service and administrative support. I worked with Hogis Group as a cashier for two years, where I developed communication and money handling skills. Prior to that time, I worked as a receptionist for one year, where I developed front desk and interpersonal skills. During my national service year, I worked as an assistant administrative officer, and also during my industrial training I assisted in office duties. My duties as a cashier include but not limited to: -Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, checks, or room charges. -Post charges to guest accounts accurately. -Maintain a cash float and ensure it's balanced at the beginning and end of the shift. -Handle foreign currency exchange if offered by the hotel. -Deposit daily collections into the hotel’s safe or bank. -Collaborate with front desk agents to ensure smooth financial transactions during check-in and check-out. -Explain billing details to guests and resolve any disputes. -Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. -Prepare daily cashier reports and submit them to the accounting department. -Ensure all cash, credit card slips, and receipts are filed correctly. -Ensure confidentiality of guest and financial information. -Report discrepancies, shortages, or suspicious activity to supervisors. -Answer guest inquiries about bills, payments, or charges. -Provide courteous service to enhance guest satisfaction. -Assist with guest requests related to financial matters.
