Iām a skilled and creative tailor based in Lagos, Nigeria, with hands on experience in designing, cutting, sewing, and finishing custom made kiddies outfits and ready to wear female garments, particularly Igbo blouses and trendy asoebi styles. My expertise covers pattern drafting, garment construction, precise fittings, creative design consultations, and sewing with industrial machines across various fabrics like ankara, lace, chiffon, and crepe, while ensuring top-quality finishing, client satisfaction, and timely delivery for events, weddings, and seasonal orders.
My journey into tailoring began in June 2015 when I started a 2yr 6month apprenticeship at a fashion house known for its authentic Igbo blouses, bridal wears, kiddies ball gown and all kinds of female couture dresses. During this time, I gained hands on experience in traditional garment construction, fabric handling, and finishing techniques. After completing my apprenticeship in December 2017, I began sewing commercially, creating custom pieces for clients. Driven by a passion to grow and adapt within the evolving fashion industry, I enrolled in a 3-month course at a fashion school, where I honed my skills in pattern drafting and fashion illustration broadening my technical understanding and design capabilities.
