Procurement Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Lead to join our team and drive strategic sourcing and supplier management across our projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute procurement strategies for projects in line with budget, quality, and compliance requirements. Lead the sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contracting processes for goods, materials, equipment, and services. Ensure adherence to NCDMB, NNPC, and other regulatory/local content requirements. Manage supplier relationships to guarantee quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with project teams to forecast procurement needs and maintain optimal inventory levels. Prepare and maintain accurate procurement reports, records, and KPIs. Resolve supplier performance issues and contractual disputes effectively. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in procurement within the construction and/or oil & gas industries. Strong understanding of local content laws, NNPC processes, and NCDMB compliance. Professional certification (CIPS, CPSM, PMP) is an added advantage. Proven negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and contract administration knowledge.
