Hair braided/ stylist

Job Description: Braider & Wig Stylist We are looking for a talented, creative, and dedicated Braider & Wig Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hair styling, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to deliver neat, professional, and long-lasting hairstyles. Key Responsibilities * Perform various braiding styles, including knotless braids, box braids, twisting and other protective styles. * Create neat and durable cornrows for different styling needs. * Style stitch braids with precision and creativity. * Make custom wigs from scratch using sewing and ventilating techniques where applicable * Revamp, wash, and restore old wigs to a fresh and wearable condition. * Style wigs using curls, straightening, crimping, and other finishing techniques. * Provide consultations to clients and recommend suitable hairstyles based on their preferences and hair type. * Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitization of styling tools and workstations. * Ensure all clients receive excellent customer service and a comfortable salon experience. * Stay updated on current hairstyling trends and techniques. * Manage appointments efficiently and complete services within agreed timelines. * Handle hair extensions and attachment blending professionally. * Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a productive salon environment. Requirements Proven experience in braiding and wig making/styling. * Proficiency in cornrows, stitch braids, and other protective hairstyles. * Ability to make, customize, and style wigs to a high standard. * Strong attention to detail and neat finishing. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent time management and organizational abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn new techniques. * Experience with hair treatments and basic hair care is an added advantage.
