Fashion House Operations Manager

Job description and key responsibilities The Fashion House Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of Ṣọmọlá, ensuring that the fashion house runs efficiently, professionally, and in line with the brand’s standards. Key responsibilities include: Managing and supervising the production team and other staff. Assigning daily tasks and monitoring staff productivity and performance. Overseeing the production process from order confirmation to completion and delivery. Ensuring orders are completed within the agreed timelines. Monitoring production schedules and identifying potential delays early. Coordinating client fittings, alterations, pickups, and deliveries. Ensuring clients receive timely and professional communication. Managing inventory, fabrics, production materials, and supplies. Keeping accurate records of orders, inventory, staff activities, and operational expenses. Ensuring the fashion house maintains a clean, organised, and professional working environment. Addressing routine staff and client issues and escalating major issues when necessary. Implementing and enforcing Ṣọmọlá’s policies, procedures, and quality standards. Preparing regular operational reports for the Creative Director/Founder. Identifying areas where the business can improve its efficiency, productivity, and overall customer experience. 3. Required qualifications and experience Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Management, Fashion Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years’ relevant management or operations experience. Previous experience in a fashion house, clothing brand, retail business, production environment, or creative business is highly preferred. Strong leadership and people-management skills. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and team members effectively. Basic understanding of garment production and the fashion industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and other relevant productivity or project-management tools. Must be proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Preferred location/work arrangement onipanu Lagos, Nigeria — On-site. The successful candidate will be required to work primarily from the Ṣọmọlá fashion house/atelier and be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the business.
