Farm Operations Executive

JOB TITLE Farm Operations Executive (Hands-On) ROLE PURPOSE Execute daily farm operations exactly as instructed. Maintain crops, labor, tools, basic processing, and records. No independent technical decisions. REPORTING Reports directly to: Farm Owner / Farm Production Manager SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY 1. Crop Execution (All Systems) • Open field crops • Greenhouse crops • Orchards and plantation crops Duties: • Land prep, planting, staking, pruning, weeding • Irrigation and fertigation as prescribed • Harvesting and yield recording • Immediate reporting of crop stress, pests, disease 2. Labor Supervision • Supervise casual laborers • Assign daily tasks • Enforce start/stop times • Report absenteeism and output 3. Tools, Equipment & Infrastructure • Daily care of tools and machines • Minor repairs and cleaning • Borehole, irrigation lines, greenhouse upkeep • Immediate reporting of faults 4. Records & Reporting (Mandatory) Maintain written or digital logs for: • Daily tasks completed • Inputs used • Harvest quantities • Issues observed Verbal reports are insufficient. KPIs (Measured Weekly) • Task completion accuracy (not speed) • Crop survival rate • Harvest loss percentage • Equipment uptime • Quality of records • Compliance with instructions REQUIRED PROFILE (NON-NEGOTIABLE) • Proven hands-on farm work (not classroom only) • Comfortable doing physical work daily • Can follow written instructions precisely • Keeps notebooks/logs without being chased • Mechanically inclined (tools, pumps, simple machines) • Speaks truth even when it reflects poorly WORK CONDITIONS • Field-based, daily presence required • Accommodation available • Performance-based retention
