Domestic Driver

1.Background: The domestic driver shall be responsible for safely and reliably transporting of household members to various destinations within and without Abuja as the case may be. He shall be responsible for maintaining clean and well-maintained vehicle(s), and will need to adhere to schedules even when flexibility is required, and provide excellent customer service, and a high level of discretion when running errands or dealing with sensitive information. 2.Job description The Employee will carry out the duties set out below: a. Safe Driving: Operate a vehicle(s) in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and maintaining awareness of road conditions. b. Household members Transportation: Pick up and drop off household members at agreed various locations including school, home, office, and errands. c. Vehicle Cleanliness: Maintain the interior and exterior of the vehicle in a clean and presentable manner. d. Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect vehicle for cleanliness, fluid levels, tire pressure, and report any required maintenance issues promptly. e. Schedule Management: Adhere to a set schedule, ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs. f. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to household members. g. Discretion: Handle sensitive personal information with confidentiality and respect privacy. h. Route Planning: As much as necessary, utilize GPS navigation to plan efficient routes based on traffic and schedule. i. All other duties related to driving as directed by Employer 3.Required Skills and Qualifications: a. Minimum of Senior School Certificate. b. Valid Driver's License: Possess a clean driving record and a valid driver's license. c. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with passengers in very good English. d. Defensive Driving Skills: Demonstrated ability to drive safely and responsibly in various traffic conditions. e. Excellent Navigation Skills: Familiarity with Abuja roads and ability to use GPS effectively. f. Professional Demeanour: Maintain a positive and courteous attitude at all times. g. Time Management: Excellent timekeeping skills to ensure punctuality. h. Personal hygiene: High level of personal hygiene and free from both body and mouth odours. i: No crime record (security vetting will be carried out on the successful Candidate before employment) Schedule: The Employee shall work Mondays to Saturdays and might be required to provide adhoc services on Sundays when the need arises.
