DESIGN ASSISTANT

Role Overview Oversees the creative and technical development of garments from concept to completion. Supports the Creative Director in design execution and manages the atelier’s production flow to maintain couture-level quality and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities • Assist in sketching, pattern drafting, and sampling of designs. • Supervise daily atelier production and allocate tasks to tailors. • Conduct fittings, quality checks, and finishing supervision. • Ensure fabric handling and garment construction meet brand standards. • Maintain production timelines, update progress sheets, and report to management. • Coordinate with procurement team for material availability. • Document each design for archiving and portfolio purposes. Requirements • Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or Garment Construction. • 2–4 years of experience in an atelier or fashion production setting. • Strong knowledge of pattern drafting, sewing, and finishing. • Ability to manage production teams and enforce timelines. • Excellent eye for detail, craftsmanship, and luxury finishing.
